Christmas time always makes me do all kinds of baking! This treat I just can’t help but to make because it is just too delicious. I often make this for a gift for our teachers/ bus drivers/ Sunday school teachers. This is a perfect gift because it’s easy, delicious and inexpensive.

I do have one disclaimer on this recipe. Be careful, once you take one bite you won’t be able to stop!! Sure to become a Christmas classic and family favourite.

Tips & Tricks

  • I use a large Tupperware plastic bowl with lid that I got from my Mother-in-law. I have used this bowl so much! If you don’t have one you must dive in! This bowl is the best because its big enough for both cereal boxes, afterward you are able to microwave and shake it up in the same bowl
  • On countertop lay out two large pieces of parchment paper to let the caramel Chex cool off then afterward you may have to break it apart a bit
  • Crispix cereal also works for this, I know around the holidays I have found that the store gets sold out of Chex!

Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks room temprature
